Firstly - I know you see it on the news like it’s some warzone but only certain parts are effected and it’s not all of Ulster either, it’s just Belfast. But we’re used to it I guess. Riots aren’t really that much of a shock here. Basically the Union flag was took down from the City Hall and all Loyalists have took great offence. Like the thug-minded animals they are they’ve been rioting and protesting and doing nothing but bring shame to this place and to themselves. I didn’t care at first but it’s kind of really annoying me now because the money that’s being spent to police these riots and the long-term affect it has on businesses. Also it’s getting in the way of people who want to get on with their lives but can’t because they’re holding the city to a standstill and for what? It’s absolutely disgusting. Instead of going forward this place is going backwards. It won’t be too long before it’s like the 80’s again and the troubles will start up.
